My personal painting style is a mix of realism and surrealism. I strive to invoke a sense of curiosity in my paintings. I’m a big believer in the imagination. It’s a magical place in my head and I want to share that with others.

I've been streaming an art history course with William Kloss, which has me experimenting with traditional methods of painting.

This landscape is from a memory of a recent trip to Jamaica. I may continue the "big sky" paintings, as I found this one so enjoyable to do and much quicker than my other style.

I continue to take classes from other instructors because I believe in harnessing the perspectives and mediums of others. Recently, I enjoyed a class focused on charcoal and pastel chalk.

This is first charcoal portrait and I am very happy with it.
